Bill Chappell's article delves into McDonald's transition away from harmful materials like plastic towards sustainable alternatives such as corn-based packaging and toys. In my illustration for the piece, I aimed to highlight the detrimental impact of plastic packaging on marine life and the environment, depicting how plastic production pollutes waterways with toxins. Additionally, I wanted to showcase McDonald's efforts to embrace eco-friendliness by adopting recyclable and compostable materials like corn and other plants. To challenge myself, I opted for a more intricate approach to vector design, stepping out of my comfort zone, and I'm pleased with the outcome.
